Vera “Joan” Wyman passed away peacefully at Mountainview Lodge on Friday, February 8, 2019 at the age of 91 years. She was born on September 7, 1927 in Avonlea, Saskatchewan.
Joan is survived by her sister; Sylvia Jacobson, children; Sharon “Elaine”, Judy and Wayne, grandsons; Trevor, Travis, Dayne and James, granddaughters; Jeralee, Lindsay, Chalann and Melissa her great Grandson; Rory and her great Granddaughters; Lydia and Lana.
She was predeceased by her son; Donald Wyman, parents; Nickoli and Dominica Basaraba, siblings; Arthur, Daniel, George, William, Mary, Ann, Peter, Mike, and David Basaraba. She was also predeceased by the father of her children; Thomas Howard Wyman.
Joan was a long-time member of Seventh Day Adventist Church. She loved cooking, baking, knitting, gardening, traveling and reading poetry. She had a heart of Gold and just loved people.
