Tereza Piller

August 31, 1931 ~ February 25, 2020

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Tereza Piller on February 25, 2020, at Kamloops Senior Village at the age of 88 years. Tereza was born on August 31, 1931, in Novi Sad, Yugoslavia. 

She was predeceased by her husband Karl Piller, her parents Istvan and Terez Csabi and her brothers Geza, Istvan and Nandor Csabi. Also brother in law Steve Janacek and sister in law Rozalija Csabi.

Tereza's memory will be treasured by her only daughter Maggie (Colin) Phillips and her loving sister Magdalena Janacek. She will be sadly missed by her three grandchildren; Morgan, Michael, and Shannon, her three great-grandchildren Atticus, Rune, and little Freja as well as numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. Many referred to Tereza as their second mom.

The family would like to thank the staff of Kamloops Senior Village for their kind, gracious, and compassionate care they provided for mom. You are all angels. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends but will remain in our hearts forever. 

A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2020, at 4:00 pm at the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Kamloops. Tereza's cremated remains will be interred with her parents in Hillside Cemetery in Kamloops.
