Michael "Mike" Rowland Flynn

It is with broken hearts that Mike’s family announces his passing on Oct 17, 2021, at the age of 76. He leaves behind his loving wife of 19 years, Terri; his children Bill (Shelley), Dan (Heide), and his four grandchildren Alycia, Jordan, Ben and Marshall. Also mourning his loss are his sister Sandy (Bob), nephew Dooley, niece Timbre and many extended family members and friends. He is predeceased by his mother Dorothy ‘Margaret’, father John, and brother Steve.  Mike, a proud retired IBEW Business Manager, loved telling corny jokes, watching his fair share of sports with a good ol’ glass of rye & coke in hand and any chance he could, he would order up a mountain of Chinese food for the family.  He was always “the life of the party” at the cabin on Sheridan Lake, where he dealt up many card games and one-liners.  Mike will be remembered for his kind heart, laughter and sense of humour.  No funeral or memorial service is immediately planned.  In his memory, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or BC Children’s Hospital would be greatly appreciated. He will be forever missed.
