It is with great sorrow that the family of Kenneth Platz announces his passing on

October 14, 2025 at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, BC.

Ken was born June 14, 1935 in Finch, Ontario to Esther Matilda Platz (nee Cameron) and Carl Malcolm Platz, along with his siblings. On July 16, 1960, he married Molly Platz (nee Forbes) and started an adventure of a lifetime. Throughout their 58 years of marriage, Molly and Ken lived life to the fullest. They built a life together and a family, who is truly going to miss them. Rest easy Grandpa, and say hi to Nana for us.

Ken is survived by his siblings; Carleen Jackson and Stanley Platz; children; Chris (Val), Heidi (Ken), and Sean, and his grandchildren; Kelsey, Jordan (Lorna), Erika (Tyler), Sydney (Sean), and Nicole. A funeral is to be held on November 8, 2025 at Saint Alban’s Anglican Church in Ashcroft, BC at 11:30am.
