Joel Henry Stefanek

JOEL HENRY STEFANEK passed away peacefully on December 12/2023 at the age of 53 with

his wife by his side after a brief battle with cancer.

Joel will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Hayley; son, Lane; father Hank; in-laws Pam &

Laurie Webster; brother-in-law James Webster; brothers Rob (Cynthia) Anderson, Dean

Stefanek, Darren (Debbie) Stefanek, Doug (Heather) Stefanek; as well as many other

aunts/uncle, cousins, co-workers & friends.

Joel was predeceased by his mom Pat Marshall (2022) & stepdad Ian Marshall (2021).

Joel enjoyed spending time with family, his son Lane was his pride & joy. He also enjoyed dirt

biking, quadding, boating, camping, going for drives on back roads and tinkering on projects in

the garage.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank the staff, doctors & volunteers at Marjorie Willoughby Hospice

House for the care & compassion they not only provided Joel but to Hayley & Lane as well.

We would also like to thank the nurses in the Ashcroft Home Health office and the nurses &

doctors at the UPCC in Ashcroft for your help and support while we were at home.

We would also like to thank the many family, friends & co-workers that supported us through this

difficult time, we couldn't have done it without you.
