HAROLD BRUCE URBASH PEARSON (HAL)

May 5, 1939-June 21, 2023

In the early hours of June 21st Hal passed away at home in Ashcroft.

He will be sadly missed by his wife of 46 years, Carole, his son Lance (Ursula), daughter Tina Marie and grandchildren Nikita, Nastasja, Tyler, and Sam.

Hal was predeceased by his mother Rosalie, young son Mark and son-in-law Christopher.

Hal enjoyed talking about his working life as a tree faller and log scaler on the coast and interior of BC. He loved reading books about the history and personal stories of BC and the Yukon. Over the years he has enjoyed golfing, camping, hunting, and fly fishing. He enjoyed being outdoors and in his years in Ashcroft spent time exploring the back roads.

We are having a casual outdoor get together both in Ashcroft and in Coquitlam to remember Hal. His many stories, his lessons on just about everything and most of all his sense of humour. Bring a chair and join us.

The Ashcroft remembrance will be August 26th at 11:00am at the south end of the Willowgrove Condos on Hill Street and the Coquitlam remembrance will be September 9th at 1:00pm in the backyard a of family members' home. Please contact family members for more information.

Thank you to the doctors and nurses in Ashcroft, Kamloops, and Kelowna. Your dedication and compassion over the last few years were very much appreciated as we felt that Hal was being very well taken care of.
